Professional Experience

Between 2001 and May 2006, Mr. Haller practiced almost exclusively in the area of insurance defense, representing large national insurance carriers including State Farm, Progressive, Allstate, and Liberty Mutual, with an emphasis on personal injury and insurance fraud claims related to automobile accidents. Between May 2006 and April 2008, Mr. Haller refocused his practice to include complex commercial litigation matters, representing large national companies including Home Depot U.S.A., Inc. and became assistant general counsel to numerous interstate and intrastate commercial motor carriers including Sysco Food Services and Central Freight Lines. Mr. Haller continued to handle a variety of insurance matters for both Plaintiffs and Defendants, and successfully assisted in the prosecution of a large hurricane damage case in Volusia County, Florida resulting in a $2,500,000 jury verdict in September 2006. Mr. Haller joined the Katzman Garfinkel team in April 2008 and focuses his practice on the prosecution of property damage claims (casualty and construction defects) and other general litigation matters on behalf of the firm’s condominium and HOA clientele. Mr. Haller also represents various emergency remediation contractors throughout the State of Florida.


Mr. Haller is a member of the Florida Bar's Young Lawyers Division and has been a member of the Orange County and Broward County Bar Associations, as well as the American Bar Association.
