Bio

I am one of the attorneys here at Katzman Garfinkel assisting Associations with their collections and foreclosure matters.  I enjoy building strong relationships with my clients through continuous communication, hard work, and diligent efforts.  I strive to always achieve great results on behalf of my clients, whether it be in a courtroom or at a negotiating table.  At Katzman Garfinkel, I am proud to be a part of a Firm that leads the way through education and innovation of our Community by participating in our Board Member Boot Camps, Trade Shows, and various seminars conducted throughout the year.

Professional Experience

After graduating from the University of Florida with Honors, Ms. Desoretz received her Juris Doctorate from American University Washington College of Law in 2005, where she participated in the renowned clinical program. She is admitted to the Florida Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Following law school, Ms. Desoretz practiced as a trial attorney for the 15th Judicial Circuit's Office of the Public Defender, where she vigorously represented indigent clients on misdemeanor, juvenile, and felony matters. Prior to joining Katzman Garfinkel, Ms. Desoretz represented Community Associations in all aspects of foreclosure and collections litigation with a South Florida law firm. She currently assists the Firm's Margate office in the collection and foreclosure department.

Memberships

Ms. Desoretz is a member of the Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section and the Young Lawyers Division.
